Summer 2026 Schedule
Cohort starts the week of June 22 or June 29
There is one cohort with one shared start date. I will confirm whether classes begin June 22 or June 29 after enrollment closes, based on when the majority of signed-up students' summer breaks begin.
Weekly Class Times (all times Eastern)
| Day | Python for Beginners | AI & Machine Learning |
|---|---|---|
| Tuesday | 10:00 – 11:30 AM ET | 12:30 – 2:00 PM ET |
| Thursday | 10:00 – 11:30 AM ET | 12:30 – 2:00 PM ET |
Students enrolled in both courses get a one-hour break between sessions — plenty of time to take a walk, have lunch, and recharge.
No classes July 27 – 31
A planned mid-summer break is built into the schedule. No makeup is needed — this is accounted for in the 12-session course plan.
Make-up class policy
I am a high schooler who takes my teaching commitments seriously. In the rare and unforeseen event I am not able to lead a session, I will arrange a make-up class at a time that works for everyone in the cohort. Parents will be notified via email as early as possible.
What Your Child Needs
Computer or laptop
A Mac, Windows, or Chromebook with a working webcam. Tablets are not recommended — class activities require a keyboard.
Stable internet connection
A reliable broadband connection for video and screen-sharing. A wired connection is better than Wi-Fi if possible.
Zoom installed
Download the free Zoom app before the first session. We'll send a join link to your email once enrollment is confirmed.
Google account
Google Classroom is used to share assignments, resources, and project files. Students must have a personal Google account.
Camera and microphone on
Camera must be on for all sessions. This is a collaborative class — being present and visible helps everyone learn together.
A quiet, distraction-free space
Please join from a calm environment with minimal background noise, out of respect for fellow students and the instructor.
No software installation required
Both courses use free, browser-based tools. Students don't need to install Python, an IDE, or any paid software. All you need is Zoom and a Google account.
